This classic film recounts the love between Scarlett O'Hara (Vivien Leigh) and Rhett Butler (Clark Gable), during the American civil war.

Breakfast at Tiffany's
An overlook at the singles living in New York City, 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' revolves around Holly Golightly (Audrey Hepburn) and her neighbor, Paul Varjak (George Peppard), a struggling writer. While Holly walks with an air of sophistication and a profile of a chic female in public, she changes completely back home. Her target is to marry a wealthy man, but her heart is always swept away by Paul, a person who does not fit her criteria. It is only at the end that she realizes how much she loves the not-so-rich writer.

An Officer and A Gentleman
'An Officer and A Gentleman' is not a totally lovey-dovey movie. It also focuses on the less discussed factors of life, like deception, dissolution, inner strength, grief and determination. The story basically revolves around a man who is determined to change himself. While he enrolls into an Officer Candidate training, he falls in love with a factory worker. Though he tries to shun his feelings, love wins over at the end. The movie stars Richard Gere, Debra Winger, David Keith, Lisa Blount and Louis Gossett Jr as its main characters.

Romeo & Juliet
An interpretation of William Shakespeare’s novel ‘Romeo & Juliet’, the movie stars Olivia Hussey, Leonard Whiting, Milo O'Shea, Michael York, & John McEnery. The story revolves around two families of Verona - the Montagues and the Capulets and their hatred towards each other. However, love seeps into the hearts of the younger generation of the family - Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet. Though both love each other immensely, their families never approve of their love. In the end, they die in each other arms.

Casablanca
A classic movie, 'Casablanca' brings across a love triangle. The movie stars Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman, Paul Henreid and Claude Rains. Set amidst World War II, the story is about Rick Blaine (Humphrey Bogart), an ex-lover of Ilsa (Ingrid Bergman). After a long separation, he meets her again, but she is accompanied by her husband, Victor Laszlo. Though still in love with her, he helps her and her European husband to return back to the safety of their land.

Love Story
A tale of love and romance, 'Love Story' is all about the sacrifices lovers make in order to come out successfully against all odds. A Harvard law student falls in love with a music wonk and they marry each other. The couple starts their life from scratch, only to discover that one of them is dying. The main characters in the movie have been played by Ali MacGraw, Ryan O'Neal, John Marley and Ray Milland.

An Affair to Remember
Starring Cary Grant, Deborah Kerr, Richard Denning and Neva Patterson, 'An Affair to Remember' is a movie about unconditional love. Grant and Kerr are engaged to different people, but when the two meet on a cruise ship, they strike a chord instantly. They fall in love and plan to meet each other at New Year’s Eve at the Empire State building. However, tragedy strikes one of them and they do not meet each other. Nonetheless, at the end, they unite beating all odds.

A movie about relationships - When Harry Met Sally is a story about two people who gradually climb the ladder of relationship. From being mere acquaintance to friends to partners, they go a journey that has been lovingly portrayed in the film. It is their search for love which brings the two close to each other.
